If you have a classic car then it is always nice when people take a genuine interest in it, and undoubtedly you will have been asked if it is for sale and answered "no". But however much we love our cars, there is always a time and price when you would say "yes", either because the time is right to consider selling, or you have your eye on a different car.
The worst time to sell your car is when you have to, for example when you have seen another classic car but need to sell yours to buy it. And we all know that the best time to sell is when you are not in a hurry but someone is knocking on your door making you an excellent offer.
One thing for certain is that when you do actually come to sell your car it's never as easy as you would like! The question is, do you sell privately or through a dealer? A dealer may take up to 20% of the sale price, and you could lose the use of your car while it sits for months in their showroom! Eventually you will probably get a call saying that someone is interested but asking if you are prepared to drop the price! Sounds familiar?
You could of course sell your car privately, but the only people that you can sell to are those who see your advert because they happen to be looking at that time! We are also aware that many people are nervous of buying privately because they may get a warranty if they buy from a dealer. As I say, it's never easy!

The cars don't have a price because they are not actually being advertised as being for sale, but there is a ball park "price range" which gives potential buyers an idea so that they can send you an email. You will only receive emails if the budget price of the person making the enquiry is greater than the minimum price you have set to receive enquiries, but you can opt to receive all enquiries.
The great thing is that you are in control at all times; you know what our fee will be so can factor that in, there is no obligation to sell, and if you don't sell then there is no fee to pay! Sooner or later an offer will be made which suits you, but until that time, just keep enjoying your lovely car!
